Amazing Raleigh, NC.  Even through the (incredibly unusual) 100°+ days we’ve had recently, those that call Raleigh home continue to be out and about, taking advantage of all this city has to offer.  Home buyers haven’t taken a break in the heat either as you’ll see below that 25% of the real estate transactions that took place last month included closings and homes going under contract – impressive!

Well not exactly, but we ARE gearing up for our 1st Prudential N. Hills office office DOG WASH!




You see we not only love ‘selling houses’ but we love our pets!  And our clients pets too.  So to show our support next Saturday our first Prudential Dog Wash will be held to benefit the Wake County SPCA.  

We thought this would be a wonderful way to invite y’all to come on over for some fun, food, and a way to get your pups cleaned up and ready for their summer vacations.

  $10—medium dog (16-50 lbs)

Save the date for May 18th – 20th for the Got To Be NC event at the NC State Fairgrounds off Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh, NC!  Join in the fun, with 95,000 attendees expected this carnival is a fun-filled event for the whole family.  Featuring games, rides, delicious food, music, tractor pulls and the largest assembly of antique farm equipment in the state (interesting!).  There is a different event scheduled for each evening and both parking and entrance to the event are free, what a great way to spend the day!  Check out the event website for more details.

Just a quick snippet from this incredible accolade awarded by the Inman.com report naming the top 10 Real Estate Markets to Watch in 2012…
“the Raleigh-Cary market saw considerable price appreciation last year, with its median sales price jumping 7.3 percent from third-quarter 2010 to third-quarter 2011. At $224,300, the Raleigh-Cary metro had the highest median sales price among the 10 markets on this list and was the only market with a median sales price above the U.S. median. Nonetheless, its affordability rate stayed above the national level…”

Raleigh Accolade: Named Healthiest City for WomenWomen’s Health Magazine named our very own Raleigh, North Carolina as the #1 Healthiest City for Women in 2012!

Now isn’t this just a delightful and interesting new accolade.. Being proclaimed as the “place with the fittest, happiest females” (wow, now that’s a winning statement wouldn’t you say!) We just can’t help but (humbly of course) brag about this.

What helped Raleigh, NC claim the coveted spot?  … in one word, prevention.  Women in Raleigh are great about getting the regular necessary screenings, and the results of those screenings have been overwhelmingly positive for local Raleigh women.
