Apex Real Estate Market Review in February 2014The Apex real estate market had another strong month in February!  Our February 2014 Apex real estate market overview shows the average days on market for single family detached homes that closed in Apex in February was only 68 days (about 2 months).  Additionally, single family detached homes in Apex sold for an average of $119.90 per square foot and at 98% sale to list price.

Last month Apex single family detached homes had 36% of the real estate activity accounting for homes that either went under contract or sold.  Like last month, this beats the previous three years with 35% closed and pending homes in February 2013, 19%  in February 2012 and 14% in February 2011.

The Apex Real Estate Market Starts 2014 Strong!

Apex Real Estate Market Recap January 2014The Apex real estate market is off to a great start in 2014!  A strong performance in January, the average days on market for homes that closed in Apex in January was only 62 days (about 2 months).  Additionally, single family detached homes in Apex sold for an average of $124.06 per square foot and at (a beautiful) 99% sale to list price.

Last month Apex single family detached homes knocked the previous 3 years of January stats out of the park, with 35% of the real estate activity accounting for homes that either went under contract or sold.  This beats the previous three years with 26% closed and pending homes in January 2013, 19%  in January 2012 and 14% in January 2011.

The “0% Active” is a tad confusing.  This percentage includes only those Apex homes that entered the MLS as a for sale home before January 2013, and sat on the market through the duration of the year (a high % would be alarming).

While the pie chart is a little arbitrary by itself, we include it to help paint the full picture for the stats below.

With just over 150 homes for sale ranging from $95,000 to $1,000,000 with an average price of a home for sale in Apex being $382,891 ($355,781 in 2012), we have affordable living available in one Raleigh, NC‘s favorite surrounding areas.

Apex Real Estate Market - August StatsReal Estate statistics for Apex, NC had another solid month in August, 2013.  Once again Apex closed and pending single family detached sales knocked the previous 2 years stats out of the park, with 44% of the real estate activity accounting for homes that either went under contract or sold.  Comparing this 44% to the previous two years – August 2012 came in at 29% and August 2011 at 17% sold or pending homes (last month was slightly higher than July 2013 as well with 43%).

Real Estate in Apex, NC had another banner month in July 2013.  Single family detached homes in Apex performed strong with 43% of the real estate activity accounting for homes that either went under contract or sold.  Comparing year over year, July knocked the previous 2 years stats out of the park with 28% of homes sold or pending in July 2012 and 18% in July 2011 (though slightly less than June 2013 with a pretty unbeatable 47%… this slight decline is typical for the cyclical real estate season).
