Life in Heritage Wake Forest – Wake Forest NC

Heritage Wake Forest

I recently finalized a home sale in Heritage, Wake Forest.  My delightful client is making the move here from NYC – Brooklyn to be exact –  and just fell in love with the Townhome built by Jack Lichtner in the Links.

And who wouldn’t?  Take a look at what’s in her backyard…  a golf course and a very relaxing lake view…  There’s also a new Wake Forest Greenway System just across the way as well!

Here’s just one of the entrances to her new subdivision – isn’t it pretty!  The stonework weaving all through Heritage is just delightful…

Pool & Tennis Community

She’s not my first client to fall in love with Heritage Wake Forest.  And It’s no wonder with the fantastic master plan, variety of homes and prices, and activities available from golf, tennis, hiking and biking, and check out this pool and community center.

I’ve heard over and over from my clients that they love living in Heritate Wake Forest and can’t image living anyplace else…

Primrose day day

There’s even a daycare center as you drive into the subdivision entrance called Primrose. The new schools are coming along too – the new HS is just down the road. .

With all the retail shopping, great places to eat and convenience  to downtown Raleigh (and even RTP with the 540) it’s no wonder that Heritage Wake Forest is a very popular place to call  home!

Call if you’d like more information on this great area – it would be a pleasure to chat with you.

West Oaks subdivision in Fuquay Varina NC – a secluded but convenient place to live

West Oaks Subdivision Fuquay Varina NC

If you’re looking to snag a great home at a terrific price consider West Oaks subdivision in Fuquay Varina NC.  But you’ll have to be quick.  It’s an area where very few homes come up on the market but when they do they get snatched up fairly quickly.

I have the pleasure of working with a terrific 1st time home buyer that’s found a pearl of a home in the West Oaks subdivision.

This ones got it all – updated kitchen with granite counter tops, tiled floor.  And it sits on just under an acre on a cul-de-sac brimming with hardwoods and lush landscaping. And the screened in porch is heavenly overlooking a private back yard.

The town of Fuquay Varina came to be initially due to tobacco trade and agriculture, but now has established itself as a pretty good alternative to the west side of Raleigh and has seen good population growth and even real estate development due to its proximity.

The developers are Mike Ruth and Jim Brandewie who formed Homescape Properties to develop Copperleaf.  The first homes came out of the ground back in 2008.  Their vision & insight was to create a space that preserves the natural flow of the land.  Copperleaf was the first neighborhood to be approved the by town of Cary when back in 2000 the town instituted the Southwest Area Plan.   The commitment to the “environmental protection, lower density and preservation of rural land patterns” plan has made this area a very desirable place to call home.
