Cary Real Estate Market - August StatsA tremendously strong month for Cary real estate in August.  For single family detached homes that closed last month they averaged only 51 days on market at an average of 98% sales to  list price.

Closed single family detached homes accounted for 201 listings and sold for an average of $365,091 (slightly lower than July 2013).  Also, 39% of the real estate transactions in Cary resulted from either closed or under contract (pending) homes (compared with 28% in August 2012 and 23% in August 2011).

Cary continues to enjoy a steady and balanced market,  family-friendly neighborhoods, desirable amenities, close proximity to Raleigh and RTP (Research Triangle Park).
