Wake Forest Real Estate Market - July StatsReal estate in Wake Forest is consistent with most of Wake County and steadily strengthening with lower days on the market, steady and rising average list prices and higher percentages of closed homes.  Last month 28% of the Wake Forest real estate activity for single family detached homes included homes that either sold or went under contract, compared with 23% in July 2012, 15% in July 2011 and 27% in June 2013 – a good sign for a positive trend in consistent home buying demand in Wake Forest.

As we mentioned, Wake Forest real estate averaged less than 3 months (only 82 days) on the market until sold for single family detached homes last month.  This is a great improvement to 128 days in July 2012 and a good gauge for Wake Forest home sellers who have their homes priced appropriately for the market.

For a quick comparison:  Last month (July 2013) there were 102 single family detached Wake Forest closed homes, compared with 89 homes closed in July 2012 and 52 in July 2011.
