Wake Forest Real Estate June StatsThe days on market for Wake Forest real estate before closing dropped significantly last month, averaging only 79 days (less than 3 months).  In May the DOM averaged to 116 days… it will be interesting to see how the trend will progress over the coming months.

Last month 27% of the Wake Forest real estate activity for single family detached homes included homes that either sold or went under contract, compared with 28% in June 2012, 16% in June 2011 and 26% in May 2013 – a good sign for consistent home buying demand in Wake Forest.

Wake Forest Real Estate Closed in June

As we mentioned, Wake Forest real estate averaged less than 3 months (only 79 days) on the market until sold for single family detached homes last month.  This is a great improvement to 116 days last month and a good gauge for Wake Forest home sellers who have their homes priced appropriately for the market.

For a quick comparison:  Last month there were 102 closed homes, compared with 94 homes closed in May, 97 in June 2012 and 75 in June 2011.
